Civil Code Article 960

A possessor may defend himself with his own force against any act which deprives him of or interferes with his possession.If the thing possessed has been seized, the possessor may, if it is a real property, retrieve the same by expelling the tortfeasor immediately after the seizure; or, if it is a personal property, retrieve it from the tortfeasor in the very act or in a pursuit.

占有人，對於侵奪或妨害其占有之行為，得以己力防禦之。
占有物被侵奪者，如係不動產，占有人得於侵奪後，即時排除加害人而取回之；如係動產，占有人得就地或追蹤向加害人取回之。
