An agricultural right is the right to cultivate, to forest, to farm, to plant bamboos and trees or to conserve on the land of another person.The duration of the agricultural right shall not exceed twenty years; where a period exceeding twenty years has been agreed upon, it shall be reduced to twenty years, except the agricultural right is created for the purpose of afforestation or conservation, or there is another statute.

稱農育權者，謂在他人土地為農作、森林、養殖、畜牧、種植竹木或保育之權。
農育權之期限，不得逾二十年；逾二十年者，縮短為二十年。
但以造林、保育為目的或法令另有規定者，不在此限。
