A forwarding agent is a person, who undertakes, as a business, to forward goods through carriers in his own name but on account of other persons, for remuneration.Unless otherwise provided in this Section, the provisions concerning Commission Agents shall apply mutatis mutandis to Forwarding Agency.

稱承攬運送人者，謂以自己之名義，為他人之計算，使運送人運送物品而受報酬為營業之人。
