If the lessee sublets the thing leased to another person in conformity with the provisions of the preceding article, the lease is still continuous between the lessor and the lessee.The lessee is bound to compensate for injury arising from circumstances for which the sublessee shall be responsible.

承租人依前條之規定，將租賃物轉租於他人者，其與出租人間之租賃關係，仍為繼續。
