In case of payment of interest or other periodical performance, if the creditor gives a receipt for one term without any reservation for the other terms, it is presumed that he has received performance for the previous terms.If the creditor gives a receipt for the capital, it is presumed that he has received the interest.If the deed to the obligation has been returned, it is presumed that the obligation has been extinguished.

關於利息或其他定期給付，如債權人給與受領一期給付之證書，未為他期之保留者，推定其以前各期之給付已為清償。
如債權人給與受領原本之證書者，推定其利息亦已受領。
債權證書已返還者，推定其債之關係消滅。
