Civil Code Article 22

A person's residence is deemed to be his/her domicile in either of the following circumstances(1) when his/her domicile cannot be certified.(2) when he/she has no domicile in Taiwan except when lex domicilli governs.

遇有下列情形之一，其居所視為住所：
一、住所無可考者。
二、在我國無住所者。
但依法須依住所地法者，不在此限。
