Civil Code Article 150

A person acting to avoid an imminent danger menacing the life, body, liberty or property of himself or of another is not liable to compensate for any injury arising from his action, provided the action is necessary for avoiding the danger and does not exceed the limit of the injury which would have been caused by the said danger.Under the circumstances specified in the preceding paragraph, if the person so acting is responsible for the occurrence of the danger, he is liable to compensate for any injury arising from his act.

因避免自己或他人生命、身體、自由或財產上急迫之危險所為之行為，不負損害賠償之責。
但以避免危險所必要，並未逾越危險所能致之損害程度者為限。
前項情形，其危險之發生，如行為人有責任者，應負損害賠償之責。
