Civil Code Article 121

If a period is fixed by days, weeks, months, or years, it ends with the ending of the last day of the period.If a period fixed by weeks, months, and years does not commence from the beginning of a week, month, or year, it ends with the ending of the day which proceeds the day of the last week, month, or year which corresponds to that on which it began to commence. But if there is no corresponding day in the last month, the period ends with the ending of the last day of the last month.
中文原文 民法第121條
以日、星期、月或年定期間者，以期間末日之終止，為期間之終止。
期間不以星期、月或年之始日起算者，以最後之星期、月或年與起算日相當日之前一日，為期間之末日。
但以月或年定期間，於最後之月，無相當日者，以其月之末日，為期間之末日。
期間不以星期、月或年之始日起算者，以最後之星期、月或年與起算日相當日之前一日，為期間之末日。
