Organizational Rule for the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Ministry of Justice Article 6
Responsibilities of the Forensic Serology and Evidence Tracking Division:1.To examine, identify and investigate serum and other serum-related criminal evidence.2.To establish a database for the regional population frequency of various types of DNA, as well as to analyze and investigate the relevant data.3.To identify and contrast the type of DNA found in unidentified cadavers.4.To explain and investigate difficult cases for forensic biology, such as those involving serum evidence.5.To formulate the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of DNA laboratories.6.The handling of other affairs relating to the investigation and development of forensic biology, such as that of serum evidence.

四、血清證物等法醫生物學上疑難鑑驗之解釋及研究事項。
五、去氧核糖核酸實驗室標準作業之訂定。
六、其他有關血清證物等法醫生物學之研究及發展事項。
