Sports Industry Development Act Article 7
Governments at all levels and state-owned businesses may fund and operate sports teams in line with national sports policies and sports industry development guidelines, to boost development of the professional sports industry and/or the amateur sports industry.The sports teams referred to in the preceding paragraph shall employ personnel with sports expertise or management experience and the sports teams may be operated as legal persons.The central competent authority may provide guidance or incentives to governments at any level and to state-owned businesses undertaking preparatory work before funding a sports team.

為促進職業或業餘運動業之發展，各級政府與公營事業得配合國家體育政策及運動產業發展綱領，出資經營運動團隊。
前項運動團隊應聘僱具有體育專業或經營管理經驗之人員，並得以法人方式經營。
各級政府與公營事業進行出資之前置作業，得由中央主管機關提供輔導或獎助。
