Sports Industry Development Act Article 24-1
The government shall make efforts to protect the public's right to attend sports competitions and activities and ensure the normal circulation of tickets for sports competitions and activities.The competent authority shall punish anyone who sells publicly available tickets for a sports competition or activity which have the price shown on the ticket for an amount exceeding that price, or who sells tickets for that same sports competition or activity that do not have their price shown on the ticket for an amount exceeding their fixed price, by levying a fine based on the number of tickets they are selling and have already sold. The fine levied for each ticket shall range from ten to fifty times the price shown on each ticket, or from ten to fifty times the fixed price for tickets for the same area of the venue. The competent authority shall punish anyone who sells tickets that should be free for admission to a sports competition or activity for which admission is completely or partly free, by levying a fine of up to NTD 18,000 for each ticket, based on the number of tickets they are selling and have already sold.Anyone who uses a computer or other related equipment to purchase one or more tickets for a sports competition or activity using false information or some other improper method and obtains one or more ticket booking or ticket collection vouchers, shall be punished with imprisonment for up to three years, or in lieu thereof or in addition thereto, shall be fined up to NTD three million.The competent authority may request police organizations to assign personnel to provide assistance to investigate the facts of or crack down on any of the offences referred to in the preceding two paragraphs.When dealing with reports of and investigating activities referred to in the provisions of Paragraph 2 or Paragraph 3, the competent authority shall keep information about any informant's identity strictly confidential and may consider giving a reward. The confidentiality of information about any informant's identity shall also be maintained during any legal proceedings.The central competent authority shall prescribe regulations governing the jurisdiction, handling period, confidentiality, rewards for informants, and other matters that must be complied with when the competent authority referred to in the preceding paragraph handles any case based on an informant’s report.

政府應致力於保障民眾觀賞運動賽事或活動之權益，確保運動賽事或活動票券正常流通。
將公開販售之運動賽事或活動票券，以超過票面金額或將該運動賽事或活動無票面金額票券定價販售者，按票券張數，由主管機關處每張票面金額或無票面金額票券區域對照所應販售票面金額之十倍至五十倍罰鍰。
將全面或部分免費入場之運動賽事或活動免費票券定價販售者，按票券張數，由主管機關處每張票券新臺幣一萬八千元以下罰鍰。
以虛偽資料或其他不正方式，利用電腦或其他相關設備購買運動賽事或活動票券，取得訂票或取票憑證者，處三年以下有期徒刑，或科或併科新臺幣三百萬元以下罰金。
主管機關為調查或取締前二項違規事實，得洽請警察機關派員協助。
主管機關對於檢舉查獲第二項、第三項規定之行為，除應對檢舉人身分資料嚴守秘密外，並得酌予獎勵。
對於檢舉人身分資料之保密，於訴訟程序，亦同。
前項主管機關受理檢舉案件之管轄、處理期間、保密、檢舉人獎勵及其他應遵行事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
