Sports Lottery Issuance Act Article 21
Anyone who uses violence, coercion, fraud, enticement, or any other illegal method to interfere with the fairness of any sports competition on which bets are made shall be sentenced to imprisonment for at least one year and not more than seven years, and the offender may also be fined between NT$10 million and NT$30 million.Anyone who commits the offense referred to in the preceding paragraph with the intention of making a profit or in collaboration with two or more other persons shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not less than three years and not more than ten years, and the offender may also be fined between NT$20 million and NT$50 million.If the committing of the offense referred to in the first paragraph results in any person’s death, the offender shall be sentenced to life imprisonment or imprisonment for at least seven years. If it results in serious injury to any person, the offender shall be sentenced to imprisonment for at least three years and not more than ten years. In both cases, and the offender may also be fined between NT$20 million and NT$50 million.Any attempt to commit the offenses referred to in the first and second paragraphs is also punishable.

以強暴、脅迫、詐術、利誘或其他非法之方法，妨害投注標的運動競技賽事之公平者，處一年以上七年以下有期徒刑，得併科新臺幣一千萬元以上三千萬元以下罰金。
意圖營利或三人以上共同犯前項之罪者，處三年以上十年以下有期徒刑，得併科新臺幣二千萬元以上五千萬元以下罰金。
犯第一項之罪，因而致人於死者，處無期徒刑或七年以上有期徒刑；致重傷者，處三年以上十年以下有期徒刑，各得併科新臺幣二千萬元以上五千萬元以下罰金。
第一項及第二項之未遂犯罰之。
意圖營利或三人以上共同犯前項之罪者，處三年以上十年以下有期徒刑，得併科新臺幣二千萬元以上五千萬元以下罰金。
