National Sports Act Article 8
The government of all levels should encourage each organization, school, juridical person and association to hold sports matches.Each national sports match should be planned in accordance with the national sports development policy and in concert with the international official sports competitions.The regulation of each national sport complex is to be promulgated by the central competent authority.

政府應鼓勵各機關、機構、學校、法人及團體舉辦運動賽會。
各種全國性運動賽會之舉辦，應依全國體育發展政策，並配合國際正式運動競賽予以規劃。
