Teachers’ Act Article 35
Teachers may request personal leave in accordance with the regulations, for marriage, funerals, illness, childbirth, and other legitimate reasons. Official leave shall be given to teachers who have a statutory duty to testify regarding a sexual assault, or sexual harassment and bullying case.The regulations governing the categories of leave, the number of days of leave, procedures for requesting leave, handling of the determination of rights and responsibilities and of breaches of regulations, and other matters relating to the leave that teachers may request referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be prescribed by the Central Competent Authority.

教師因婚、喪、疾病、分娩或其他正當事由，得依規定請假；其基於法定義務出席作證性侵害、性騷擾及霸凌事件，應給予公假。
前項教師請假之假別、日數、請假程序、核定權責與違反之處理及其他相關事項之規則，由中央主管機關定之。
