Teachers’ Act Article 3
This Act applies to Full-time Teachers within the staff complement of a public educational institution or a registered private educational institution who receive remuneration on a monthly basis and who have obtained teacher qualifications in accordance with the law.The provisions of this Act shall apply to Full-time Teachers at Military and Police Academies and Reformatory Schools who were appointed in accordance with the provisions of this Act and the Statute Governing the Appointment of Educators, unless otherwise stipulated in law.

本法於公立及已立案之私立學校編制內，按月支給待遇，並依法取得教師資格之專任教師適用之。
軍警校院及矯正學校依本法及教育人員任用條例規定聘任之專任教師，除法律另有規定者外，適用本法之規定。
