Teacher Education Act Article 8
The admission requirements and the length of the programs for students in teacher education-related departments of universities shall be in accordance with the provisions of the University Act.Universities with a Teacher Education Center may select undergraduate students and students currently being registered to a master or doctoral program to take Pre-service Teacher Education Courses.After obtaining approval from the Central Competent Authority, a Teacher Education University may recruit university graduates to take Pre-service Teacher Education Courses for at least one year based on actual demands.Students referred to in the preceding three paragraphs who complete the stipulated Pre-service Teacher Education Courses with passing grades shall be issued a Pre-service Teacher Education Completion Certificate by their Teacher Education University.

各大學師資培育相關學系之學生，其入學資格及修業年限，依大學法之規定。
設有師資培育中心之大學，得甄選大學二年級以上及碩、博士班在校生修習師資職前教育課程。
師資培育之大學，得視實際需要報請中央主管機關核定後，招收大學畢業生，修習師資職前教育課程至少一年。
前三項學生修畢規定之師資職前教育課程，成績及格者，由師資培育之大學發給修畢師資職前教育證明書。
