Lifelong Learning Act Article 3
The terms used in this Act are defined as follows:1. Lifelong learning: refers to the learning activities an individual engages in over the entire course of their life.2. Lifelong learning institution: refers to an educational institution, agency, institution, or group providing lifelong learning.3. Lifelong learning professionals: refers to the range of professional staff who engage in lifelong learning curriculum planning, instruction, and guidance at lifelong learning institutions.4. Senior citizens’ learning: refers to the learning activities provided by lifelong learning institutions for people 55 years and older to engage in.

本法用詞，定義如下：
一、終身學習：指個人在生命全程，從事之各類學習活動。
二、終身學習機構：指提供終身學習之學校、機關、機構及團體。
三、終身學習專業人員：指在終身學習機構從事終身學習課程規劃、教學及輔導之各類別專業人員。
四、樂齡學習：指終身學習機構所提供五十五歲以上人民從事之學習活動。
