Technical and Vocational Education Act Article 4
In order to train talents who meet the national economic and industrial development needs, and formulate macro technical and vocational education policies and schemes, Executive Yuan shall invite chiefs from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Economic Affairs, National Development Council and other related ministries/departments to convene the technical and vocational education council meeting regularly. The Executive Yuan shall define the election of members and the organization and operation of the committee.The scheme referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be reviewed comprehensively and published at least once every two years.

為培育符合國家經濟及產業發展需求之人才，制定宏觀技職教育政策綱領，行政院應定期邀集教育部、勞動部、經濟部、國家發展委員會及其他相關部會首長，召開技職教育審議會；其委員之遴聘、組織及運作辦法，由行政院定之。
前項綱領，至少每二年應通盤檢討一次並公告之。
