Degree Conferral Act Article 14

A student undertaking a double major offered by the enrolling institution or by both the enrolling institution and another institution within the legally prescribed period of study, upon obtainment of the required course credits, having met the graduation requirements with satisfactory assessment results, and having met the requirements set out in this Act for conferring degrees at respective levels shall be conferred a degree by the enrolling institution, and the degree diploma that the student is awarded will record the name of the institution(s) and the department(s) in which the double major was offered.A student undertaking an associate or bachelor's degree may enroll in a minor subject (department or degree program) at the same level within the enrolling institution or at another institution. A student undertaking a master's or doctoral degree may enroll in a minor subject (department, graduate institute, or degree program) at the same or a lower level within the same university, but the student will not be conferred a separate degree.If the student undertaking a double major offered by the enrolling institution or by both the enrolling institution and another institution referred to in Paragraph 1 is un-able to earn the required course credits to complete the double major within the pre-scribed period of study, the student may apply for credit transfer and waiver to ob-tain a minor in a subject (department or degree program) instead and the student will not be conferred a separate degree.
