Regulations Governing the Assessment and Recognition of Foreign Academic Records by Institutions of Higher Education Article 9
When undertaking verification of foreign academic credentials, each university shall require the applicant to submit a letter of consent authorizing it to undertake verification, and related documents.The university may ask the foreign educational institution from which an applicant graduated to verify the following matters regarding the applicant’s foreign academic credential(s), or send a written request to an overseas mission for assistance to do so:1. Admission requirements;2. The restrictions on the period spent undertaking a program;3. The courses that must be completed;4. The nature of the approval given to the educational institution by the government authority responsible for such educational institutions or by the professional accreditation agency for education in the country where it is located;5. Any other matters that require verification.

各校辦理國外學歷查證，應由申請人出具授權查證之同意書及相關文件。
各校向申請人國外畢業學校查證，或函請駐外館處協助查證申請人所持國外學歷之項目如下：
一、入學資格。

三、修習課程。
四、當地國政府學校權責機關或其認定之教育專業評鑑團體對學校認可情形。
五、其他必要查證事項。
