Act Governing the Retirement, Bereavement Compensation, Discharge with Severance Pay Benefits for the Teaching and Other Staff of School Legal Persons and their Respective Private School(s) Article 1
This statute has been formulated to protect the retirement, bereavement compensation, resignation, and severance pay rights and interests of the staff of school foundations (which are referred to as “school legal persons” in the title of this Act) and their private schools, and to promote the sound development of private schools (including post-secondary level colleges and universities).

為保障學校財團法人（以下簡稱學校法人）及其所屬私立學校教職員退休、撫卹、離職及資遣權益，並促進私立學校健全發展，特制定本條例。
