Fundamental Act of Education Article 10
The government of municipality and county(city) shall establish an education review committee to oversee the review, consultation, coordination and evaluation of educational affairs through the process of meetings on a regular basis.The education review committee in the preceding paragraph is chaired by the head of government of municipality and county (city) or by the director of its education bureau, and its board members shall include education scholars and experts, as well as representatives of parent’s associations, teachers’ associations, teachers’ union, teachers, local communities, disadvantaged groups, school educators and administrative personnel. Regulations for establishing such an education review committee shall be formulated by the government of municipality and county (city).

直轄市及縣（市）政府應設立教育審議委員會，定期召開會議，負責主管教育事務之審議、諮詢、協調及評鑑等事宜。
前項委員會之組成，由直轄市及縣（市）政府首長或教育局局長為召集人，成員應包含教育學者專家、家長會、教師會、教師工會、教師、社區、弱勢族群、教育及學校行政人員等代表；其設置辦法由直轄市、縣（市）政府定之。
