Organization Act of the Ministry of Education Article 5
The MOE shall contain the following subordinate agencies, with their respective responsibilities:1. The K-12 Education Administration: Planning and promoting policies and systems for high schools and below, as well as for preschools; supervising, coordinating, and providing assistance for the development of local high schools and below as well as preschools; and administering educational affairs of high schools and lower level schools governed by the MOE.2. The Youth Development Administration: Planning national youth development policies; promoting youth career counseling, public participation, international experiences and learning and other youth development related matters.

本部之次級機關及其業務如下：
一、國民及學前教育署：規劃、推動高級中等以下學校與學前教育政策及制度，並督導、協調、協助各地方高級中等以下學校與學前教育之發展及執行本部所轄高級中等以下學校教育事項。
二、青年發展署：規劃全國青年發展政策，推動青年生涯輔導、公共參與、國際與體驗學習及其他青年發展事項。
