Regulations Governing Certification by Building Structure & Equipment Related Professional Engineers Article 4
A professional engineer shall not practice technical works related to professional engineering of building structure and equipment nor conduct certification (hereinafter referred to as “certification”) until the following documents and information be submitted, permitted by the the central competent authority of construction and publicly announced:1. Application form.2. The professional engineer’s signature and seal specimen card, and practice seal.3. Professional engineer license (original and one photocopy).The permission described in the preceding paragraph shall be valid until the expiry date of the professional engineer license. If upon its expiry the professional engineer license is renewed with no modifications made to the scope of permissions, no further application is required.In the event that the professional engineer license is revoked, abolished, nullified, or got suspended due to punishment during its validity period, the permission shall become invalid on the date of license revocation, abolishment, nullification, or the commencement date of suspension . If the professional engineer subsequently has their license reinstated, they must reapply for permission under Paragraph 1 herein.If a change of the professional engineer’s name, serial number of identification document, professional engineering branches, or file number of professional engineer certificate, the professional engineer shall declare the change to the central competent authority of construction for processing within fifteen days of the change of professional engineer license, after which the change shall be publicly announced by the central competent authority of construction.

專業技師辦理建築物結構與設備專業工程相關技術事務並簽證負責（以下簡稱簽證）時，應先檢具下列文件、資料，申經中央主管建築機關許可，並公告後始得為之：
一、申請書。
二、執業技師之簽名及印鑑卡、執業圖記。
三、執業執照及其影本各一份。
前項許可期限末日與執業執照效期末日相同，執業執照效期屆滿換發後，許可事項無變更者，免重新申請許可。
執業執照於效期內經撤銷、廢止、註銷或受停止業務懲戒處分者，簽證許可自執業執照撤銷、廢止、註銷生效日或停業期間起始日失其效力；恢復執業者，應依第一項規定重新申請許可。
專業技師姓名、身分證明文件字號、技師科別、證書字號名稱有變更時，應於變更執業執照後十五日內申報中央主管建築機關辦理變更；其變更事項並由中央主管建築機關公告之。
