Organization and Operation Regulations of the Professional Engineer Discipline Committee and the Professional Engineer Discipline Retrial Committee Article 3
If the subject of the case precedes the process of criminal investigation or court trial, the disciplinary review process shall not suspend. However, a disciplinary punishment shall depend on whether the subject professional engineer's criminal case is guilty. If necessary, the discipline committee and the retrial committee may suspend the disciplinary review until the subject professional engineer is sentenced. The foregoing shall also apply if the criminal investigation or court trial proceeds after the disciplinary review.The decision made pursuant to the preceding paragraph shall be informed to the entity that raised the accusation, the subject professional engineer, and the subject's professional engineer association.

同一事件，在刑事偵查或審判中者，不停止懲戒程序。
但懲戒處分應以犯罪是否成立為斷者，懲戒委員會及覆審委員會認有必要時，得決議於刑事裁判確定前，停止懲戒程序；刑事偵查或審判程序於懲戒程序中開始者，亦同。
前項決議，應通知申請交付懲戒者、技師公會及被付懲戒之技師。
但懲戒處分應以犯罪是否成立為斷者，懲戒委員會及覆審委員會認有必要時，得決議於刑事裁判確定前，停止懲戒程序；刑事偵查或審判程序於懲戒程序中開始者，亦同。
前項決議，應通知申請交付懲戒者、技師公會及被付懲戒之技師。
