Organization and Operation Regulations of the Professional Engineer Discipline Committee and the Professional Engineer Discipline Retrial Committee Article 11
During the trial process, the discipline committee should inform the subject professional engineer to attend and present his plea. If necessary, the defender can invite one to three agents to attend the hearing. If the subject professional engineer fails to attend on the designated date, the process shall be conducted nevertheless.The aforementioned personnel shall withdraw before the resolving process, and the reasons and opinions posed by the personnel shall be entered into the minutes.

懲戒委員會審議時，應通知被付懲戒之技師到場陳述意見；必要時，被付懲戒之技師得會同代理人一人至三人共同到場。
被付懲戒之技師未依通知所定期日到場陳述意見者，審議程序不受影響。
前項人員應於決議之前退席；所陳述之意見，應列入紀錄。
