Customs Personnel Management Act Article 16
The customs officer who is promoted for a higher level than the current position in the first year of being in the original pay rate shall be switched to the pay rate of the same amount for the incumbent position; the pay rate shall be set after an annual performance evaluation conducted according to the results of performance appraisal of one full year of service.The pay rate of the customs officer who is qualified upon the expiration of the probation term in accordance with Article 7 of this Act may be increased for a higher level than the original one

凡在原俸級服務未滿一年晉升高一官稱人員，應予換敘高一官稱同數額俸點之俸級，俟在該俸級服務至年終滿一年，依考績結果再予核敘。
依第七條試用人員，試用期滿，考核成績合格者，按原敘俸級晉敘一級。
