Regulations Governing the Handling of Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances by Military Agencies Article 4
The managing authorities for the handling of toxic chemical substances by military agencies are as follows:1. The Ministry of National Defense: Prescribe policies and regulations for the management of toxic chemical substances and supervise the management of its subordinate agencies with regard to the handling of toxic chemical substances.2. The Army Command Headquarters, the Navy Command Headquarters, and the Air Force Command Headquarters (hereinafter each as the “Headquarters”), the Reserve Command and the Military Police Command (hereinafter each as the “Command”), the Armaments Bureau and the Medical Affairs Bureau (hereinafter each as the “Bureau”) and the National Defense University under the Ministry of National Defense:(1) Prescribe regulations for and supervise the management of toxic chemical substances.(2) Supervise subordinate handling units of toxic chemical substances drawing up hazard prevention and emergency response plan for handling sites of toxic chemical substances.(3) Supervise subordinate handling units of toxic chemical substances submitting handling records to the competent authority at municipality, county/city levels in accordance with the regulations, and reporting to the Ministry of National Defense for reference.

軍事機關運作毒性化學物質之管理權責如下：
一、國防部：毒性化學物質管理政策及法規之訂定，並督導所屬毒性化學物質運作單位之管理。
二、國防部陸軍司令部、海軍司令部、空軍司令部（以下簡稱各司令部）、後備指揮部、憲兵指揮部（以下簡稱各指揮部）、軍備局、軍醫局（以下簡稱各局）、國防大學：
（一）訂定毒性化學物質管理規定與督導。
（二）督導所屬毒性化學物質運作單位，訂定毒性化學物質運作場所危害預防及應變計畫。
（三）督導所屬毒性化學物質運作單位，依規定向直轄市、縣（市）主管機關申報運作紀錄，並報請國防部備查。
