Act of Insurance for Military Personnel Article 6
The beneficiary of the retirement payments, disability benefits, subsidies for parental leave without pay, and funeral expense of the dependents is the insured. The death indemnities shall be received by family members as the beneficiary in the following order:1. Spouse.2. Children.3. Parents.4. Grandparents.5. Siblings.In case that the insured has already designated the beneficiary of death indemnities before the Articles of this Act amended on 31 May 2013 come into force, the designation shall prevail.

退伍給付、身心障礙給付、育嬰留職停薪津貼及眷屬喪葬津貼，以被保險人本人為受益人；死亡給付依序由下列親屬為受益人領受之：
一、配偶。
二、子女。
三、父母。
四、祖父母。
五、兄弟姊妹。
被保險人於本條例中華民國一百零二年五月三十一日修正之條文施行前，已指定死亡給付之受益人者，依其指定辦理。
