Act of Military Service System Article 5
A man with one of the following situation is prohibited from enlisting to Military Service, called Prohibited from Service:1-Hawing been sentenced to more than 5 years of imprisonment.2-Serving the prison terms totaling to 3 years.The terms of those who have been sentenced for rehabilitation should be accumulated into the period stated on the above Paragraph-2.

有下列情形之一者，禁服兵役，稱為禁役：
一、曾判處五年以上有期徒刑者。
二、執行有期徒刑在監合計滿三年者。
經裁定感訓處分者，其感訓處分期間應計入前項第二款期間。
