Rank reduction. Whereas the rank reduction is imposed on a commissioned officer or a non-commissioned officer, the current rank is reduced to the next inferior rank with the accordingly reduced grade, yet a ban on reinstatement for the supervisory office within one year follows thereby.Whereas the punishment is meted out to the offender as stipulated in the preceding paragraph but the disciplinary offender has lost his/her active service status, his/her retirement/separation pay shall be reviewed and reapproved according to the rank and grade reduction in his/her rank at the time of retirement, demobilization, or separation from service.
