Act of Assignment for Officers And Noncommissioned Officers of the Armed Force Article 14
The responsibilities of suspending and dismissing of Military Officers shall be as follows：Subparagraph 1Generals, Lieutenant Generals and Major Generals of Important Military Positions shall be submitted to the President for approval by the Ministry of National Defense.Subparagraph 2Lieutenant Generals and Major Generals of Ordinary Military Positions shall be approved by the Ministry of National Defense.Subparagraph 3Colonels shall be approved by the Ministry of National Defense or each Headquarter.Subparagraph 4Captains and Non-commissioned officers shall be approved by their Commanding Officers with a rank of not lower than Major General.

軍官、士官之停職、撤職權責如下：
一、上將及中、少將重要軍職，由國防部呈報總統核定。
二、中、少將一般軍職，由國防部核定。
三、校官，由國防部或各司令部核定。
四、尉官、士官，由少將以上編階主官核定。
