Passport Act Article 9
The following persons are eligible for diplomatic passports:1. The President, Vice President, and their dependents2. Diplomatic and consular personnel and their dependents, and attaches to heads of Overseas Missions3. Dignitaries sent abroad by the central government on diplomatic missions and their dependents, as well as approved attaches4. Diplomatic couriers5. Any other person approved by the Competent Authority

外交護照之適用對象如下：
一、總統、副總統及其眷屬。
二、外交、領事人員與其眷屬及駐外館處、代表團館長之隨從。
三、中央政府派往國外負有外交性質任務之人員與其眷屬及經核准之隨從。
四、外交公文專差。
五、其他經主管機關核准者。
