Passport Act Article 22
Diplomatic or official passport holders shall return their passport by the deadline specified by the Competent Authority once the purpose of holding such passport ceases to exist during the validity period, unless the Competent Authority has approved continued use.In the event the passport holders referred to in the preceding paragraph fail to return the passport by the specified deadline, the Competent Authority shall rescind the issuance of the passport and cancel the passport.
中文原文 護照條例第22條
外交或公務護照之持照人於該護照效期內持用事由消滅後，除經主管機關核准得繼續持用者外，應依主管機關通知期限繳回護照。
前項護照持照人未依期限繳回者，主管機關應廢止原核發護照之處分，並註銷該護照。
