Regulations for Emergency Medical Services Article 10
Fire departments shall train different level of EMTs to quality them to perform the emergency medical service tasks. They include: Basic EMT, Intermediate, and Paramedic. The training qualification, curriculums, hours, instructors, and certificate examination must be in accordance with the prescriptions of the Department of Health.

消防機關應訓練救護人員，使具初級、中級或高級救護技術員資格，以執行緊急救護工作。
