Standard for Installation of Fire Safety Devices based on Use and Occupancy Article 22

Emergency broadcasting equipments shall be equipped in the buildings where automatic fire alarm equipments or automatic alarm equipments for gas leakage have been installed according to Article 19 or Article 21.1.119 fire notification device shall be equipped in the following places:1.Hospitals, sanitarium, Veterans home, long-term care institutions (limited to Institutional services ,Community-based services which building usage classification is not belong to H-2 of day care, group homes and small-size multi-function services), Senior Citizens’ Welfare Institutions (limited to long-term care, nursing, caring for dementia senior citizens of long-term care institutions, Domiciliary care institutions) , welfare institutions for the handicapped (limited to vegetable, dementia, bedridden or patient with degraded physical and mental function) and nursing home institutions(limited to nursing homes, psychiatric nursing homes and postpartum nursing care institutions) used for the purposes listed in 12.1 (6).2. Other facilities for public use declared by the central regulating authority.
