Standard for Installation of Fire Safety Devices based on Use and Occupancy Article 13
On occurrence of extension, reconstruction or alteration of purposes, the standards before extension, reconstruction or alteration of purposes shall still apply all the same. However, in case of any of the following, standards after extension, reconstruction or alteration of purposes shall govern:1.The fire safety equipments are extinguisher, automatic fire alarm equipments, manual alarm equipments, emergency broadcasting equipments, indicating equipments, refuge appliances and emergency lightings.2.The area of the proportion of extension or reconstruction after the amendment and issue of this Standard on July 1, 1996 amounts to 1,000m2 or accounts for 1/2 of the total floor area.3.The purpose of building is changed to Class A.4.The fire safety equipments, prior to alteration, don’t meet the fire safety requirements prescribed before alteration.
中文原文 各類場所消防安全設備設置標準第13條
各類場所於增建、改建或變更用途時，其消防安全設備之設置，適用增建、改建或用途變更前之標準。
但有下列情形之一者，適用增建、改建或變更用途後之標準：
一、其消防安全設備為滅火器、火警自動警報設備、手動報警設備、緊急廣播設備、標示設備、避難器具及緊急照明設備者。
二、增建或改建部分，以本標準中華民國八十五年七月一日修正條文施行日起，樓地板面積合計逾一千平方公尺或占原建築物總樓地板面積二分之一以上時，該建築物之消防安全設備。
三、用途變更為甲類場所使用時，該變更後用途之消防安全設備。
四、用途變更前，未符合變更前規定之消防安全設備。
但有下列情形之一者，適用增建、改建或變更用途後之標準：
一、其消防安全設備為滅火器、火警自動警報設備、手動報警設備、緊急廣播設備、標示設備、避難器具及緊急照明設備者。
二、增建或改建部分，以本標準中華民國八十五年七月一日修正條文施行日起，樓地板面積合計逾一千平方公尺或占原建築物總樓地板面積二分之一以上時，該建築物之消防安全設備。
三、用途變更為甲類場所使用時，該變更後用途之消防安全設備。
四、用途變更前，未符合變更前規定之消防安全設備。
