Police Act Article 16
The central government shall plan budgets for local police departments based on the conditions of respective localities.When the budget for a police department mentioned in the preceding paragraph is insufficient, subsidies may be applied to the central government.

地方警察機關預算標準，由中央按各該地區情形分別規劃之。
