Police Personnel Management Act Article 39
Provisions of this Act shall apply mutatis mutandis to general administrative and technical staff defined in the organization acts of police institutions and academies, except for matters regarding appointment, retirement and compensation.For active personnel hired in accordance with relevant laws before September 23, 1985, and paid at the same level as public officials of elementary rank, regulations governing their appointments, dismissal, and transfers, rewards, punishments, and performance evaluation, salaries, retirement benefits and compensation, and other relevant matters shall be formulated by the Ministry of the Interior.

依警察機關、學校組織法規所定之一般行政人員及技術人員，除任用、退休及撫卹外，準用本條例之規定。
中華民國七十四年九月二十三日前經警察機關、學校依有關法令進用之現職同委任及委任待遇人員，其任免遷調、獎懲考成、薪給、退休撫卹及其他相關事項之辦法，由內政部定之。
