Firearms, Ammunition, and Knives Control Act Article 20-3
1. Police authorities inspecting firearms, ammunition, the prohibited imitation guns and their main components of may enter manufacturing, storage, or sales premises, inspect components, finished products, semi-finished products, various records, and other necessary items, question relevant persons, and request necessary information.2. The inspection mentioned in the preceding paragraph may be conducted jointly with the industry competent authority when necessary.3. Inspectors must proactively present their identification when conducting inspections in paragraph 1 and must not hinder the normal operation of the premises.4. Evading, obstructing, or refusing inspection, questioning, or providing information, as mentioned in paragraph 1, shall be fined NT$200,000 to NT$500,000 and may be penalized per violation and forced to comply with the inspection.5. Regulations regarding the personnel, inspection sites, targets, scope of items to be inspected, implementation procedures, and other compliance matters for the inspection mentioned in paragraph 1 shall be determined by the central competent authority.

警察機關為查察槍砲、彈藥、公告查禁之模擬槍及其主要組成零件，得派員進入槍砲、彈藥及模擬槍製造、儲存或販賣場所，就其零組件、成品、半成品、各種簿冊及其他必要之物件實施檢查，並得詢問關係人及令提供必要之資料。
前項檢查，必要時得會同目的事業主管機關執行之。
檢查人員於執行第一項規定之檢查任務時，應主動出示執行職務之證明文件，並不得妨礙該場所正常業務之進行。
規避、妨礙或拒絕第一項之檢查、詢問或提供資料者，處新臺幣二十萬元以上五十萬元以下罰鍰，並得按次處罰及強制執行檢查。
第一項檢查之人員、檢查處所、對象、檢查物品範圍、實施程序及其他應遵行事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
