Social Order Maintenance Act Article 85
Any of the following behaviors shall be punishable by detention or a fine of not more than NTD 12,000:1. Using obviously inappropriate language or actions against government officials who are carrying out their duties in accordance with the law, yet not to the degree of using coercion or hurling an insult.2. Gathering people and making noises to interfere with government officials who are performing their official duties.3. Making a false disaster report purposely to government officials.4. Dialing the police hotline for no good reason especially after being asked not to.

有左列各款行為之一者，處拘留或新臺幣一萬二千元以下罰鍰：
一、於公務員依法執行職務時，以顯然不當之言詞或行動相加，尚未達強暴脅迫或侮辱之程度者。
二、於公務員依法執行職務時，聚眾喧嘩，致礙公務進行者。
三、故意向該公務員謊報災害者。
四、無故撥打警察機關報案專線，經勸阻不聽者。
