Spatial Planning Act Article 40
Competent authorities of municipalities and counties (cities) shall enhance their land use violation inspections and appropriate a certain percentage of fines imposed under Article 38 to encourage the public to report unlawful land use.The central competent authority shall establish regulations regarding objects, criteria, scope, and related matters of incentives to encourage the public to report unlawful land use, referred to in the preceding paragraph.

直轄市、縣（市）主管機關對土地違規使用應加強稽查，並由依第三十八條規定所處罰鍰中提撥一定比率，供民眾檢舉獎勵使用。
前項檢舉土地違規使用獎勵之對象、基準、範圍及其他相關事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
