Common Duct Act Article 11
The Common Duct shall be constructed with precedence in the projects of new town development, new community development, village community renewal and reallocation, regional requisition, urban land reallocation, urban renewal area, mass rapid transit system, underground railway, and other significant ones. While the implementing area is located within the Common Duct system, the respective competent authority shall integrate, after consultation with the concerned engineering authority and relevant utility agency (or organization), the execution plan of Common Duct into the concerned significant projects and perform it.

新市鎮開發、新社區開發、農村社區更新重劃、辦理區段徵收、市地重劃、都市更新地區、大眾捷運系統、鐵路地下化及其他重大工程應優先施作共同管道；其實施區域位於共同管道系統者，各該主管機關應協調工程主辦機關及有關管線事業機關（構），將共同管道系統實施計畫列入該重大工程計畫一併執行之。
