The sewers referred to in the Act are as follows:1.Stormwater sewer: sewer for special treatment of stormwater.2.Sanitary sewer: sewer for special treatment of household and industrial wastewater.3.Combined sewer: sewer for special treatment of stormwater, household and industrial wastewater.

本法所稱下水道分為左列三種：
一、雨水下水道：專供處理雨水之下水道。
二、污水下水道：專供處理家庭污水及事業廢水之下水道。
