Credit Union Act Article 18
There shall be the board of directors in a credit union to execute the resolutions reached at the general meeting of members and to take the joint responsibility for the credit union.The board of directors shall be consisted of seven to twenty-one members as the board members who shall be elected at the general meeting of members with a term of three years; and they may be re-elected.The board members shall elect a chairperson who should be eligible for re-elected once.

儲蓄互助社設理事會，執行社員大會之決議，對儲蓄互助社負連帶責任。
理事七至二十一人，由社員大會選任之，任期三年，連選得連任。
理事會設理事長一人，由理事互選之，連選得連任一次。
