Enforcement Rules for the Cooperatives Act Article 13

The chairperson of the board of directors or of the board of supervisors in a meeting of the board of directors or of the board of supervisors acts as the chairperson of the meeting respectively, and in the event of the absence of the chairperson of the board of directors or of the board of supervisors, a person shall be elected by the directors or supervisors from among themselves to preside over the meeting.Directors or supervisors may send a written notification with reasons in writing jointly signed by not less than half of all the directors or supervisors to the chairperson of the board of directors or of the board of supervisors to call a meeting of the board of directors or of the board of supervisors, and then report to the regulating authority for reference.The written notification in the preceding Paragraph shall be posted by double registered delivery to the registered address of the cooperative, and then reported to the regulating authority for reference after receiving the advice of delivery.The chairperson of the board of directors or of the board of supervisors shall, within fifteen (15) days upon receipt of the written notification, call and finish the meeting. In the event of failing to call and finish within the specified period, more than half of all the directors and supervisors may convene a meeting by joint signature, which shall be presided over by a person elected by the directors or supervisors from among themselves, and forward the notification of the meeting to the regulating authority for reference.
