Act of Preferential Treatment for Military Personnel and Their Dependents Article 41
Dependents receiving preferential treatment shall have such treatment suspended in any of the following circumstances:1. Loss of nationality.2. Currently serving a prison sentence.3. Currently wanted by the authorities.4. Divorce of spouse, marriage of a daughter, or a son becoming an adopted son-in-law of another family.5. Becoming an adopted child of another person.

被優待之家屬，有左列情形之一者，停止其優待：
一、喪失國籍者。
二、判處徒刑在執行中者。
三、正通緝中者。
四、配偶離婚，女出嫁、或子為他人贅夫者。
五、為他人養子女者。
