Presidential and Vice Presidential Election and Recall Act Article 9
The special municipality and county (city) election commissions shall respectively be responsible for the following affairs:1. Setting up and managing polling stations and ballot counting stations2. Printing election and recall ballots3. Supervising public notice of the list of qualified voters4. Printing election bulletins5. Implementing public education on elections and recalls6. Supervision of elections and recalls7. Other matters related to elections and recallsSpecial municipality and county (city) election commissions shall direct and supervise township (city/district) offices in the handling of the following election and recall affairs:1. Issuance of public notice of the list of qualified voters2. Set-up and management of polling stations and ballot counting stations3. Selection of polling station and ballot counting station workers4. Distribution of ballots for elections and recalls5. Distribution of election bulletins and voting information notices6. Public education on the laws and regulations governing elections and recalls7. Other matters related to elections and recalls

直轄市、縣（市）選舉委員會分別辦理下列事項：

五、選舉、罷免宣導之執行事項。
六、選舉、罷免之監察事項。
七、其他有關選舉、罷免事項。
直轄市、縣（市）選舉委員會就下列選舉、罷免事務，指揮、監督鄉（鎮、市、區）公所辦理：
一、選舉人名冊公告閱覽之辦理事項。
二、投票所、開票所設置及管理之辦理事項。
三、投票所、開票所工作人員之遴報事項。
四、選舉、罷免票之轉發事項。
五、選舉公報及投票通知單之分發事項。
六、選舉、罷免法令之宣導事項。
七、其他有關選舉、罷免事務之辦理事項。
