Presidential and Vice Presidential Election and Recall Act Article 85
Whoever commits any of the following acts of violence or coercion, or who uses other illegal means, shall be sentenced to a fixed term of imprisonment of not more than five years:1. Hindering the campaign of another candidate or compelling them to abandon their campaign2. Hindering others who are signing a joint-signature petition for a prospective candidate in accordance with law3. Hindering others who raise or agree with a recall proposal, or compelling others to raise or agree with a recall proposalAny attempt to commit any offense specified in the preceding paragraph shall also be punished.

以強暴、脅迫或其他非法之方法為下列行為之一者，處五年以下有期徒刑：
一、妨害他人競選或使他人放棄競選者。
二、妨害他人依法為被連署人連署者。
三、妨害他人為罷免案之提議、同意或使他人為罷免案之提議、同意者。
前項之未遂犯罰之。
