Political Parties Act Article 8
The name and abbreviated name of a political party are subject to the following conditions:1. The name or abbreviated name shall not be similar or identical to that of an established political party.2. The name or abbreviated name shall not be formulated by adding words to the name or abbreviated name of an established political party.3. The name or abbreviated name shall not be easily mistaken for a government agency or profit-seeking institution.4. The name or abbreviated name shall not exhibit discriminatory or hateful characteristics.If the name or abbreviated name of a political party is not in compliance with any condition specified in any subparagraph of the preceding paragraph, the competent authority shall stipulate a time by which the political party shall be required to make necessary corrections; official registration applications of political parties that fail to make such corrections or remain noncompliant after corrections have been made shall be rejected.

政黨之名稱或簡稱，不得有下列情形：
一、與已設立之政黨名稱或簡稱相同或類似者。
二、於已設立之政黨名稱或簡稱附加文字者。
三、足以使人誤認為政府機關或營利事業機構者。
四、有歧視性或仇恨性者。
政黨之名稱或簡稱有前項各款情形之一者，主管機關應通知其限期補正；屆期未補正或經補正後仍不符規定者，不予備案。
一、與已設立之政黨名稱或簡稱相同或類似者。
二、於已設立之政黨名稱或簡稱附加文字者。
三、足以使人誤認為政府機關或營利事業機構者。
四、有歧視性或仇恨性者。
